About Us!

We are a small family run Bed and Breakfast that strives to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We have been awarded three 'Certificates of Excellence' awards from TripAdvior (2013, 2014 & 2015) due mainly to the amazing feedback from our past guests. Thank you all so very much for your kind words. If there is anything we can do to make your stay with us more magical please let us know!

For luxurious accommodation in the outskirts of Dublin, let 'The Sheehys at Springfield' be your solution. Celbridge is on the cusp of Dublin in the lovely County of Kildare.

The positive energy of Springfield B&B offers you the traditions of Irish Country Manor Living, steeped in Irish History, combined with the warm hospitality that is part of Libby’s Tex/Mex heritage, guaranteeing a genuine Southern welcome helps you experience a taste of Ireland in a family environment. You can relax in the comfort and style that will bring you back time and again to this haven of Georgian tranquility.

Once you enter the private gates, you are embarking on the Serendipity that will mark your time in Springfield.

Only twelve miles from Dublin, we are an easy distance from anything that you may desire, be it theatre or cinema, fine dining or McDonald’s, horse racing, horse riding or hunting (Drag hunt – in season) for the novice or expert, swimming, fishing, canoeing or choice of beautiful golf courses, links and magical gardens to explore.

But if you’d prefer to just relax with a DVD in your room from our library of over 500 DVDs, a good book to read or a take away meal, 'The Sheehys at Springfield' is just the place for you.
Let us remind you just how special you are!
Please note—We are a family home and have dogs, big and small on the property. There are Great Danes and Pugs so please drive carefully and we apologise for any inconvenience they may cause. They are all very friendly so don't be shy and say hello!
